Sports club annual budget template
A budget isn't an accountant's line item. It's the manager's tool that shows before the season starts whether the plans fit the money. This template is built on a sports club's real income and expense categories; formulas do the maths. The file is in Estonian.

What's in the template

How to use it

Download the file and open it in Excel, Google Sheets or LibreOffice.

Fill in income and expense rows by month. Start with fixed numbers (rent, salaries), then add forecasts.

Use the guide sheet's fee forecast formula: members × monthly fee × 11 months × 0.93.

Watch the cumulative balance row. If a month goes negative, replan when support arrives or when costs land.

Why does the fee forecast use a 0.93 multiplier?
Because in real life not every invoice gets paid. 5–10% of invoices arrive late or never: families leave mid-season, forget, or struggle. The 0.93 multiplier makes the budget realistic; if your club collects better, raise it.
How should coach salaries be budgeted?
Enter the employer's total cost, not net pay: gross salary × ~1.338 (social tax and unemployment insurance in Estonia). Service contracts and board member fees are taxed differently. Check with your accountant.
Does the template work for the annual report?
The template is a management tool, not an accounting report. The annual report is prepared from bookkeeping data. The same structure does, however, give a good basis for the activity report section.
How is this different from accounting software?
